The Italian street.
The main street of the town. The architecture of the old part of the street, paved with the granite and stone plates, reminded of the coastal streets of the southern Italian towns. The First floors of the buildings hung over the pavement and arcades and in the depth of the arcades one could find small stores, workshops and cafes.
You might have a strong feeling of Genoese Kafa's heritage at the sight of the undamaged ancient marble columns, capitals, forged bars, architectural details skillfully adjusted while constructing the buildings. In 1844 the emblem of Feodosia was confirmed. It depicted the Genoese tower and a sailing vessel
